Thom Cordner is a second-generation advertising creative director. After starting his career in Detroit on Chevrolet for Campbell-Ewald, he would go on to Los Angeles and New York creating campaigns for Honda, Volkswagen, Marriott, Verizon, Intuit, Comcast, Ebay, and retro kids’ clothing brand Garanimals. While most of his career has been spent in the cubicles of advertising agencies (Deutsch, McGarryBowen, and Digitas, to name a few), Thom also spent five years in-house at Audible where he oversaw all brand and retail creative. His work has been featured in CommArts and Archive and has been recognized by the Clio Awards, random industry awards whose names elude him, and a couple of shortlists at Cannes (really, it’s totally enough just to be considered). Today, Thom lives in New Orleans with his wife and dog in a 150-year-old house requiring more attention than his wife or dog.
