His true passion lies in digital and direct marketing, where he has led teams at renowned agencies like BBDO and FCB in Toronto, Canada. At BBDO, Rene's work on M&M's Find Red campaign won over 40 awards, including three Cannes Lions. As VP Creative Director at BIMM(Toronto), he transformed the agency from a direct shop to Strategy's Silver Digital Agency of the Year in less than two years. 

Rene's extensive portfolio spans large Canadian brands such as RBC, Shaw and Loblaws and global brands like WD-40 and MB smart fortwo earning him over 150 industry accolades from The Webby Awards, The One Show, Cannes Lions, and more. He has judged global shows such as Cannes Lions, New York Festivals, and the International DMA ECHO Awards, as well as Canadian shows like The Canadian Marketing Awards and Applied Arts.
