Karl Heine is Founder and Solutionist at creativeplacement® — with more than 35 years in the creative industry as a placement specialist, coach, speaker, educator, designer, and maker. With a focus on packaging, print, UI/UX, experiential, digital and communication servicing agencies, brands and in-house corporate and securing opportunities for emerging and seasoned professionals. He has taught product innovation and creation at M.AD, School of Ideas, NY; graphic design applications and entrepreneurial portfolio at SUNY New Paltz; business practices and studio at Shintaro Akatsu School of Design; design thinking, typography and graphic design studio at Anhui Polytechnic University and Aurora University in China; business practices for packaging designers at FIT; and is Adjunct Faculty at the School of Visual Arts teaching professional practices in the BFA/Illustration / BFA Comics department.
