Dan Rookwood is a writer who became a brand strategist and then a CMO.
He began as a sports journalist at The Guardian, then worked across magazines including Men’s Health and GQ, before moving into brand roles at MR PORTER in New York and Nike in Portland, where he led global writing.
Now back in London, he works across sport, fashion and media as a fractional CMO. But he still writes copy on the side for the likes of EA Sports, Google Pixel and Nike.
Dan is a founding partner of a global network of brand leaders called KIND/RED and enjoys helping creative people navigate their careers – mainly because he’s still figuring out his own.
